The Armani Hotel Dubai is in the iconic Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. In this luxurious hotel, Fila provided the products and technology for treating some of the most prestigious interior spaces. Fila was responsible for the treatment of the Azul Bateig natural stone and Ermosa limestone installed as floor and wall coverings in the bathrooms of the hotel. The Azul Bateig stone was washed with PS87 PRO Heavy Duty Cleaner diluted in water to eliminate all installation residue. Then, two coats of the water based sealer FILAW68 were applied to provide stain protection without altering the appearance of the material. The Ermosa limestone was washed with CLEANER PRO Concentrated All Surface Cleaner and protected with FOB XTREME Porous Stone Sealer to create a barrier against water and greasy stains. The Green Bamboo limestone installed in the restaurant was also washed with CLEANER PRO, while the polished black granite and cream honed finish were washed with PS87 PRO to eliminate any stains left during installation. All three materials were waterproofed with FOB XTREME.
