Acid etching (vinegar, lemon, cola, wine, limescale removers)

Natural stone

macchieopache

Many substances such as vinegar, lemon, cola, wine and limescale removers are slightly acidic and damage the shiny finish on marble and polished natural stone, leaving opaque stains on the surface. If the surface is only lightly damaged, the stone becomes matte and the effect can be seen when light reflects on it. More serious damage results in white stains which are rough to the touch.

To restore small areas such as kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities and windowsills, we recommend using the MARBLE RESTORER KIT.
