Treatments for Manufactured or Recomposed Stone

Manufactured stone is produced by combining binders (concrete, sand or clay) with ground stone and marble. It is generally used as a veneer for exterior, interior and perimeter walls. Solvent based products are recommended for this kind of medium-to-low absorbency material. A type of manufactured stone made entirely of chalk is used only for interior wall coverings due to its high absorbency. We recommend using a matte wax on manufactured stone to prevent flaking and make cleaning easier.
