FILA Industria Chimica Middle East has been shortlisted for two categories at the Construction Week Awards!
We’re thrilled to announce that FILA has been shortlisted for not one but TWO categories at the Construction Week Awards! Our nominations follow a dedication to the quality of each and every construction project helping each stakeholder (ranging from the architects, consultants, developers, contractors, facility management and Clients) to maintain the long-lasting beauty of the project, protecting each surface with the usage of advanced and sustainable technology, reducing the maintenance costs, reducing the usage of water, reducing the wastage of damaged natural stones in the long period and delivering projects on time and on budget.

#1 FILA Solutions as Sub-Contractor of the Year
The Sub-Contractor of the Year title will go to the company that delivers on its prescribed scopes of work on a project in accordance with ideal parameters and requirements. An independent jury will judge the shortlisted names based on several factors, including the subcontractor’s support towards the supply chain and individual projects.
A global leader in the treatment, protection and maintenance of internal and landscaping surfaces, such as natural stones, cement, granite, ceramics tiles, FILA is committed to bringing wellness and long-lasting beauty and protection to interior and exterior surfaces. FILA products in the Middle East have been selected and used in many iconic projects such as the Presidential Palace, Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi, Armani Hotel, the international airport in Doha, the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai, luxury hotels, commercial and residential buildings. The presence of FILA with its own branch started in 2012 and is located in JLT, Dubai.
#2 Fabrizio Nicoli as Construction Executive of the Year
The Construction Executive of the Year award will be given to a senior executive who has made the most significant impact on their company's construction-related business in the preceding year. To choose a winner, a vast panel of independent judges will examine their work and identify how the individual has contributed to the success of their companies projects, as well as displaying their duty to the improvement of the regional construction industry as a whole.
As General Manager for The Gulf Countries and Pacific Asia, Eng Fabrizio Nicoli has grown the business of FILA Industria Chimica in the Middle East and Pacific Asia for the past 9 years, having secured many unique, mega projects throughout the regions. Nicoli is an Italian Industrial Engineer, holding an executive MBA from BAYES-CASS business school London, based in the Region since 2009.
He says, ‘’We protect the building in a sustainable way using advanced technology, for the longest period possible. This includes the interior, exterior and landscaping of the Projects, and we help the industry as a whole from developers, architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, facility managers and more, improving the protection and beauty of the surfaces, reducing the maintenance costs, reducing the usage of water and natural resources, in the long period.’’ Find out more about Fabrizio here.
