Treatments for Granite
Granite
Granite is an igneous or magmatic rock, generated by the cooling and crystallisation of melted magma. It is an extremely hard, compact stone, not sensitive to acids and this means it is extensively used in delicate areas such as the kitchen. The natural presence of micropores (to be found in all natural stone) means it tends to absorb liquids and for this reason it is important to carry out a good stain proof treatment.
