Nestled amidst the picturesque hills of Soave, Cantine Pieropan stands as a truly unique architectural masterpiece. The essence of the building lies in its proportions, the interplay of light, and the beautiful materials used. It represents a harmonious blend of order and elegance. Notably, the Vicenza stone columns, where Palladio was a profound connoisseur, are pivotal in defining the facade's harmony. To ensure their lasting beauty, FILA Solutions products were selected for their ability to nourish and protect these surfaces over time.
Initially, CLEANER PRO, a neutral cleaner known for its natural cleansing properties, was employed for the initial cleaning of the stone surfaces. Following this, WET, a consolidating protector specifically designed for use on marble, stone, and rugged granite, was applied. WET provides a customisable wet effect that can be adjusted based on specific applications. Additionally, this sealer offers protection against yellowing and ageing, ensuring that the stone surfaces at Cantine Pieropan retain their timeless radiance and charm. This meticulous process transforms the work into a sensory experience, engaging all the senses.
NB. Since this project was completed, FILA’s water-based sealer WET ECO has replaced the original product WET. A plant-based product, WET ECO is a wet-effect toning protective treatment for unpolished natural stone surfaces, unpolished agglomerates and terracotta.
Our advanced formula, WET STONE ECO will also be available soon and was recently presented at the CERSAIE and MARMOMAC shows. Keep your eyes peeled for this innovative new product coming in January 2024.
