Treatments for Natural stones and Agglomerates

Natural stones and agglomerates of natural stones are many, each type has its own characteristics by origin, hardness and treatment.

All these types of natural stones are mainly composed of various mineralogical compounds, which determine their strength and their resistance to various atmospheric agents (if used for outdoor flooring) and to foot traffic.

Natural stones used for paving operations can be submitted to a glossy or non-glossy finish and laid indoors or outdoors. There are many types of natural stones: marble, granite, slate, porphyry, many "local varieties" (such as Luserna stone, Vicenza stone, Lecce stone).

Then there are the "agglomerations of natural stones", divided into "non-glossy agglomerates" such as the granigliato and the marmocemento, and the "shiny agglomerates" such as the variety of "Venetian" stone and grit.
