At the forefront of the Linea Marmo Group stands MARGRAF Spa, a globally renowned entity specialising in the extraction and refinement of natural stone. Since its inception, the company has consistently distinguished itself with innovative techniques, solidifying its position as an international powerhouse in the industry.

Headquartered in the northern Italian city of Chiampo, MARGRAF operates an impressive array of ten quarries, with operational facilities spanning across Croatia and Italy. The company also cultivates strong collaborations with construction professionals on a diverse range of projects, including airports, hotels, offices, and even sacred spaces.

We had the recent pleasure of hosting the MARGRAF team at our FILA headquarters, where we welcomed not only their CEO but also their sales and commercial directors. During their visit, we had the opportunity to present our cutting-edge Research and Development department, providing them with an insightful glimpse into the advanced instruments utilised within our laboratory. This included our ageing chamber and spectroscopy equipment, tools that help us understand the characteristics of treated and untreated materials by measuring how they emit and absorb different types of electromagnetic signals. These instruments play a pivotal role in assisting architects, developers, and stone contractors. We were delighted to demonstrate their capabilities to our esteemed guests.

In addition, we delved into our newest divisions, FILA PROJECT and FILA TECH, offering a comprehensive overview of our product lineup tailored for in-line treatment applications. Notably, FILA TECH serves as a focal point for pioneering solutions aimed at the direct application of products onto materials, thereby enhancing their protective attributes. Remarkably, our technical expertise and consultancy services have already benefited more than fifty surface manufacturers.

MARGRAF's visit had a distinct and pivotal goal: to ascertain how FILA products could offer comprehensive support across every phase of the stone process. From initial fabrication to product specification and the implementation of cleaning and protective measures, we leverage our expertise and resources to enhance stone qualities throughout its lifecycle.
